Sales Assistant

Location: Beijing, China
Reporting line: Report to the Sales Director, China
Practice: All functions and duties assigned are to be carried out in professional manner and must be in line with the company policies and image.
Functions & Duties:
▪ To assist the Sales Director on the management of customer accounts as well as related activities and coordination.
▪ To support the sales team in all sales and marketing activities such as prepare for exhibitions, conferences, book fairs, seminars, training workshop, direct mailing and other mailing campaigns, etc.
▪ To prepare sales reports for internal distribution.
▪ To collect usage reports for regional/national consortia as per requests.
▪ To coordinate with administration department for the travelling arrangement of the sales team members.
▪ To liaise with customer services, marketing, other in-house teams as well as Springer global teams.
▪ To handle incoming sales calls and enquires.
▪ Filing of documents for the team. Keep all forms and documents organized and searchable.
▪ To collect the market information or intelligence.
▪ Manage the marketing and promotional materials and keep clear record.
▪ To carry out other job functions in related to sales and marketing assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree
• 1-3 years similar working experiences are preferred
• Strong speaking and written communication skills for both Chinese and English
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Patient and detailed-oriented
• Excellent studying skills.
• Excellent knowledge to Microsoft office software and other necessary computer programmes is a must.
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
