Dieses kompakte Lehrbuch führt in die Grundlagen der sozialpsychologischen Organisationsforschung und ihre praktische Anwendung ein. System- und Sozialisationstheorien werden als zentrale Bezugsrahmen des Erlebens und Verhaltens in und von Organisationen vorgestellt. Mit spezifischen Sozialisationsbedingungen werden Ansätze der Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung verbunden und Maßnahmen zur Beratung und Intervention abgeleitet. Sozialisation wird so zum zentralen Ansatzpunkt von Wandel und Innovation der Organisation. Es werden klassische und aktuelle Problemfelder der Sozialpsychologie der Organisation diskutiert (z. B. Gruppendynamik und Führung, aber auch Genderfragen, neue Ungewissheit und Innovation), wodurch dieses Lehrbuch zum sozialpsychologischen Grundlagenwerk für das verhaltenswissenschaftliche Management wird.

Prof. Dr. Martin Elbe, Studium der Wirtschafts- und Organisationswissenschaften (Dipl.-Kfm. Univ.) sowie der Soziologie und Psychologie (Dipl.-Soz. Univ.). Er forscht am Zentrum für Militärgeschichte und Sozialwissenschaften der Bundeswehr in Potsdam und lehrt an der Hochschule für Medien, Kommunikation und Wirtschaft Berlin, am DISC/TU Kaiserslautern und an der Donau-Universität Krems.
