**Features**

This well organized book provides complete coverage of the brain, ENT, head and neck, orbits, and spine. The imaging techniques are combined with excellent pathologic specimens, clinical photos, and illustrations.

**Assessment**

This is one of the best books on the topic of pediatric neuroradiology. Embryology introductions to each topic are unique and relevant.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Weighted Numerical Score: 97 - 5 Stars!

The images and illustrations are of very high quality and are used generously.

These are interesting inclusions not seen in many neuroradiology books.

Descriptions of conditions are comprehensive, with a lot of background information.

This book deserves a place in every department where paediatric neuroradiology is practised.

RAD Magazine, 2005

"The first edition of Pediatric Neuroradiology is a two-volume text divided into three sections … . is well organized, clearly written, and comprehensive. All neuroradiology fellows and neuroradiologists should read this book and have it available as a reference. It will be a great resource to training and practicing pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuropathologists." (Sean P. Symons, Radiology, Vol. 241 (3), 2006)

"The book is notable by its detailed coverage of relevant embryology, molecular biology and genetics, providing excellent up-to-date references for the non-expert in these fields. … While a wide range of diagnostic modalities are included in this book, there is a particular strong coverage of both MR and sonography, reflecting current paediatric use. … offers an excellent reference book for paediatric neuroimaging and is the result of a great deal of hard work. … I would certainly recommend it find a place on your shelf." (Kirsten Forbes, Neuroradiology, Vol. 50,2008)

"In creating this textbook, Tortori-Donati and Rossi set out with the audacious goal of creating perhaps the most comprehensive and sweeping textbook on the subject of pediatric neuroimaging to date, and it appears as if they have done just that. … an invaluable resource to those whose interest in pediatric neuroimaging extends well beyond surface comprehension. … Pediatric Neuroradiology is a most welcome addition to the existing canon of texts on the subject and one that I expect will withstand the test of time." (American Journal of Neuroradiology, Vol. 28, August, 2007)
