Overview

Journal of Mathematical Sciences publishes direct submissions (Series A) as well as English translations from outstanding Russian-and Ukrainian-language publications of authoritative reports on current mathematical advances (Series B). Articles cover a wide range of topics, including mathematical analysis, probability, statistics, algebra, geometry, mathematical physics, wave propagation, stochastic processes, boundary value problems, linear operators, and number and function theory. See the Aims & Scope for more details.

The journal is a valuable resource for pure and applied mathematicians, statisticians, systems theorists and analysts, and information scientists.

Peer Review
Journal of Mathematical Sciences  is a peer reviewed journal. We use a single blind peer review format. The average period from submission to first decision is 7 days. The average rejection rate for submitted manuscripts is 25%. The final decision on the acceptance of an article for publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

  • Call for Papers: Special Issue on “Fractional order systems and operator theory”

The subject of fractional calculus and its potential applications have gained a lot of importance, mainly because it has become a powerful tool with more accurate and successful results in modeling several complex phenomena in numerous seemingly diverse and widespread fields of science and engineering. It was found that various, especially interdisciplinary applications, can be elegantly modeled with the help of fractional derivatives. Since fractional differential equations combined with operator theory, still used perfectly in applied sciences via mathematical modelling, it is very important to focus on the most promising open problems and new directions that were formulated based on the modern techniques and approaches presented recently in the field trying to have interesting and original results in real world.

This special issue will consider strictly strong papers resulted from modern analysis and applied aspects of fractional dynamic systems and operator theory. We also strongly encourage young researchers/PhD students who were obtained new contributions well supervised and guided by experts to submit their eminent papers to this special issue. Note that submitted papers should be explicitly meeting with the Aims and scope of JMS journal.
